Everything is metered in language-minutes: 1 minute of one translated language during a live event. Practice mode (rehearsals with synthetic translation) is free and does not consume language-minutes. Two ways to buy:
If you buy as a consumer, you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of making it, without giving a reason (§ 1829 of the Czech Civil Code; Directive 2011/83/EU). Each one-off pack purchase is its own contract with its own 14-day window: every pack you buy, not just the first. For subscriptions the window runs from concluding the subscription contract (your first purchase of a given plan), not from each renewal, because the price and the automatic renewal are clearly disclosed to you at checkout (CJEU C-565/22). Because minutes are usable immediately, at checkout you expressly request that the service be available at once and acknowledge the consequences, which differ by product:
To withdraw, use the contact form on the homepage, or the e-mail or phone number in the Legal Notice; any clear statement works, and you may use this model form. It is enough to dispatch your withdrawal within the 14 days (§ 1818 Civil Code; Art. 11(2) of the Directive); it does not have to reach us before the period ends.
Model withdrawal form (send only if you wish to withdraw): "To Ondřej Plevka, Nad úžlabinou 445/20, 108 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic, [email protected], tel. +420 734 420 573 — I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: [pack or plan, and the date of the order], ordered under [organization name / e-mail used at checkout]. [Your name, address, date; signature only if sent on paper.]"
We confirm receipt and refund within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, to the original payment method.
Within 14 days of purchase: the price minus minutes already used is refunded on request, no questions asked. For consumers this is the statutory withdrawal right above; we voluntarily apply the same rule to organizations. Later: fully unused packs are refunded on request within their validity; partially used packs are refunded pro rata minus minutes used. Refunds go to the original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days.
Cancelling is self-serve: the Billing section of your dashboard opens Stripe's secure billing portal, where you can cancel the plan, update your payment card, and download your invoices. Cancelling stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: your organization keeps full access and its monthly allowances until then (the current month on monthly billing, or the rest of the year on annual). A running event is never interrupted.
Monthly: the current month is not pro-rated; cancel any time to avoid the next charge. Annual is paid upfront for a 12-month term and, once the term has begun, is not pro-rated or refunded on mid-term cancellation; you keep the service and allowances through the paid year. Separate from cancellation, consumers can withdraw within 14 days of concluding the subscription contract (monthly or annual) as described above: you pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided, access ends, and the rest of the price is refunded. Subscription prices are locked for the paid term; the per-minute overage rate may change only at renewal.
If an event fails because of a fault on our side (platform outage, translation sessions failing), we re-credit the affected minutes. Tell us the date and time and we check it against our records.
Translation runs on a third-party AI model (currently Google's Gemini). If its provider retires that model and no suitable replacement is available yet, live translation may pause for temporary maintenance while we migrate (see Terms §5). If that happens, active subscription time is extended by the affected period on request, and unused prepaid packs stay valid and are refundable on request. We do not charge for translation we cannot deliver.
Cancel subscriptions yourself in the dashboard's Billing section. For refunds and withdrawals, use the contact form on the homepage with your organization name and the approximate purchase date. We answer within a few business days.
Internal compliance and legal review completed through 2026-07-19. This policy is maintained by the Operator and reviewed against the live platform. Changelog: v1.2 (2026-07-19) incorporates the legal review — each pack purchase carries its own 14-day window, pack and subscription withdrawal consequences stated separately (lapse on full consumption vs pro-rata for a continuous service), the dispatch-suffices rule, and the phone number added to the model form. v1.1 (2026-07-18) states the consumer 14-day withdrawal in full (immediate-supply consent, deduction for consumed minutes, model form) and adds self-serve cancellation via the billing portal. v1.0 published 2026-07-12.
